GRADING: Fine is our highest grade

Bob Brown, owner of b brown & Assoc bought his first SF book for resale, and sold it, in 1971. From then on, there was no looking back. Through the early 1970's, he was part of the SF Bay Area bookselling partnership of BB&W with Clint Bigglestone and Tom Whitmore. The group broke up in the mid 1970 when Bob moved to Seattle, where he continued selling at conventions, Book Fairs, and through catalogs. In 1980, Bob joined with John Polly and Wayne Moye in a downtown retail store named Moye, Polly, and Brown which later became The Seattle Book Center. In the late 1980, Wayne Moye retired. In 1992 the downtown store was closed and the operation moved to north to the Freemont/Wallingford area. In 1996, space became a real problem so when the storefront next door to The Seattle Book Center, Bob moved in and opened his own shop, where he currently resides.
